Our Trainers
Our Community Training Facilitators are endorsed by SLSWA and provide a professional and friendly service.
Jodee Woodward
Jodee holds a Cert IV (TAE) and can facilitate that hold units of competency such as CPR, Basic First Aid and Senior First Aid. Jodee is also our MUMS & BUBS trainer.
Jodee’s commitment to Surf Life Saving began over 29 years ago when she gained her Bronze Medallion in 1985 with the Geraldton SLSC. Her personal development at Geraldton led her to take on a number of Administrative, Educational and Leadership Roles over a twelve year period. For many consecutive years Jodee was recognised from SLSWA for completing 100 plus hours of Patrol duties during the one season. She was awarded Long Service Membership in 1997.
Even though Jodee is a Primary School Teacher and has a young family her commitment this Season, and the past two seasons as Bronze Medallion Coordinator and Member of our Education Team, exemplifies her great passion for the Surf Life Saving movement and North Cottesloe SLSC.
As the Senior Bronze Medallion Coordinator, Jodee puts in over 150 volunteer hours each season to train new Surf Life Saving Members to become Bronze Medallion Award holders and patrolling members of the Club. In addition to the volunteer service Jodee is employed by NCSLSC to train Community Courses such as Basic and Senior First Aid, Community Surf Rescue and Mums & Bubs.
Jodee has a number of Life Saving Awards including a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, which she upgraded this Season to TAE. She attends regular Professional Development for Surf Life Saving and with the Primary School she works at.
